Donna Laky, B. A., B. S., T. S.
Donna is our head embryologist and the supervisor of all our laboratories. Donna has been working in reproductive laboratories for more than 24 years and has experienced the rapid and powerful growth in this technology. She has experience in both small and large programs. She joined our program with extensive prior experience in embryo micromanipulation including experience in ICSI, assisted hatching and embryo biopsy. Most recently, she has taken on the demanding challenge of IVM. In spite of the demands of embryology, Donna has a twenty some year old daughter, who is also very interested in pursuing a career in the medical field.
Donna was recently honored by her peers at the American College of Embryology by being selected as the "Embryologist of the Month" in recognition for the excellence in her practice of embryology. Their announcement may be found at http://embcol.com/node/470.
Maureen Rose, RN
Maureen works part-time for the practice. Her husband is Dr. Rose. She has been a nurse for more than twenty years and has worked in pediatrics, med-surg, the emergency room and the ICU. She has three children in or past college and still clearly recalls the heartbreak of infertility. Maureen has earned the American Society of Reproductive Medicine Nurse Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Laura Hoey, RN
Laura works part-time in our Allentown office, where she is the primary triage nurse. Most patients who undertake a cycle through that office will get to know her well. She has 20 years of nursing experience which included work in the NICU as well as mother-baby units. Her life has taken her from Virginia to North Carolina to Pennsylvania with four children.
Amanda Reinhart, Surgical Technician
Amanda has been a surgical technician at Sacred Heart Hospital. Amanda came to this practice after working in surgery with Dr. Rose for many years. She assists in the office and in the IVF program. Outside the office, she has three children and is working on her RN degree.
Jayne is our office manger and the head of our billing department. She brings more than twenty years of billing experience and dedication to our practice. Billing is a time-consuming support function that is constantly changing and often unappreciated. Her two children, Justin and Britt, have grown up with the practice.
Amazingly, Britt has been with us in some form for most of her life. Much of her childhood was devoted to competing in cheerleading and dance. She graduated from the Performing Arts Charter School in Bethlehem and now attends Cedar Crest College with plans to become a nurse.
